When did you begin playing music?
I got my first guitar when i was in 4th or 5th grade and have been playing ever since.

What would you be doing if you weren't in this band?
I'm really not too sure, probably working in a garage or something rebuilding old cars.

Favorite touring moment thus far:
That's hard to say, my last band toured alot and I've done a few with Underoath so I really can't narrow that down.

Favorite band accomplishment thus far:
I would have to say writing this new record, when I came in we all just clicked and worked really well together getting the record written, and I thought that was pretty cool.

Gear used:
My hot new gold mic!

When did you begin playing music?
ummm...my mother has been musical my whole life so probably around like four or five.

What would you be doing if you weren't in this band?
I would probably be a worship leader or a chef depending on one thing or another.

Favorite touring moment thus far:
Being on the Solid State tour and having communion together in Sacramento.

Favorite band accomplishment thus far:
Accomplishments are such hard things to tag but... I think that just having people sing with us and come and watch us is an honor.

Gear used:
Various sizes of truth and medicine man drums, MEINL cymbals, dw hardware.

When did you begin playing music?
I started playing guitar when I was 15 years old. I rented this crappy Hondo Les Paul copy and a little practice amp from a music store for like $40 a month. It was pretty ghetto.

What would you be doing if you weren't in this band?
Probably something in music. Tour managing or interning somewhere cool.

Favorite touring moment thus far:
There are too many to remember...every tour we've done has been with awesome dudes. If I had to pick one, probably the last day of the Solid State Tour in Charlotte. It was a constant party.

Favorite band accomplishment thus far:
I think it's cool that we can tour around the country and pay rent. God's really been using us alot lately too. I guess just the whole lifestyle...I feel blessed to be a part of this regardless of our business-based accomplishments.

Gear used:
I use a 99' Black SG Standard through a Peavey 5150 II Head and an Orange 4x12 and 2x12. I have a tuner too...so that's pretty cool...hah.

When did you begin playing music?
I began I think about 4 years ago when I started the band. I had never really played keyboard before that, but I just kinda learned as i went along. I guess it worked out ok though!

What would you be doing if you weren't in this band?
Honestly I'm not sure. Before we started touring full time I was in that whole "figuring out what to do with my life" thing and threw around quite a few ideas. I thought about going to culinary arts school, becoming an x-ray tech, all kinds of stuff. But I wouldn't trade what I'm doing now for anything.

Favorite touring moment thus far:
I dont think I can narrow it down to one moment, we've had quite a few in the past 4 years or so, but I would have to say that as a whole this tour that we just got off of with norma jean, beloved, haste the day, and dead poetic was probably the best time I've ever had on the road. Every one of those guys are amazing and I grew closer to every one of them. There were just so many good times on that tour.

Favorite band accomplishment thus far:
Hmm.... I would probably have to say that us getting our record completed is the accomplishment that I am most happy about as of now. We put so much work into that record over the past 2 years or so and to get it back and have it in my hand is just so great. (I just hope people like it....)

Gear used:
A roland XP 60 keyboard, a Korg Electribe EA-1, a Boss SP-505 sampler, and another electribe (the black one, dont recall the model number at the moment).

Grant Brandell - bass

When did you begin playing music?
I started playing the saxaphone in 7th grade and in highschool joined a band. I pretty much just got tired of the saxophone and picked up the bass guitar cause the band I was playing in needed one and just taught myself and have been playing for about 6 years.

What would you be doing if you weren't in this band?
I'm not really too sure, I'd like to say finishing college but I honestly have no idea where God would have me, probably playing in another band though.

Favorite touring moment thus far:
That's pretty much impossible to say. My favorite part of touring over the last few years has been the friends that I have made and get to see when we tour.

Favorite band accomplishment thus far:
Probably the album we just finished.

Gear used:
Ampeg 8x10 Bass Cabinet, Ampeg Svt Pro 4 Amp head, Sans Amp Rack Pre-amp, Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray bass guitar.

What are some of your favorite movies?
My all time favorite movie is Good Will Hunting.  Then in no particular order would include Godfather II, Rouders, Best in Show, and Rushmore.

What do you do when you are not on tour?
I enjoy spending as much time doing nothing as possibe.  I like to eat at some of the finer tampa dining establishment as Jimbo's and Gordo's.  You may also find me in the backyard grilling a feast for a king.

Favorite touring moment thus far:
There have been so many in the past year that its immpossible to pick just one.  Warped tour especially this past summer was amazing everyday.  Shows are always just a goodtime.

Favorite band accomplishment thus far:
Being able to stay alive by playing in this band. I make money doing what I love while traveling the world, its amazing.

Gear used:
I play a 1960 reissue gibson les paul aby to a orange ad140 twin channel amp head through a 1970 Marshall 8x10 cabinet and a 1974 Marshall Super Lead 100 through a orange 4x12 cabinet.   I use cables and a boss pedal tuner. Its pretty simple just turn up loud and rock!
